DBC note dt. 12.09.08
Dated : 12/09/2008
It has been a while since the Database Cell of CBDT (DBC) has corresponded with members of the IRS community. The reason was that after the 1st phase of hectic activity, DBC was concentrating on improving data accuracy and finding out missing or erroneous data. This was a slow and laborious process requiring manually matching hard copies of profiles / correction requests with the digital database. The lists of discrepancies / deficiencies are available on the website.
